A Burton Wonderland

Well, I recently discovered Tim Burton is in the he midst of making an Alice in Wonderland type of sequel. Where Alice goes back once she is seventeen and everything is much, darker. Sounds like the game 'Alice' by American Mcgee, right? I thought so too... but am still very much intrigued.
I have discovered my much beloved, Alan Rickman, will be playing the caterpillar and the very diverse, Johnny Depp, will be the classic, Mad hatter. It is currently slotted to be released in March, 2010 and I just had to ramble about it somewhere. I have a deep love for that tale, as many people do. My main character of choice, would be the Cheshire Cat.. and I am rather curious on how they are going to make him out. I think he has potential (along with the Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts) to be the darkest of all.

Anywho, besides that! Life is good. I started these once a week writing classes at Ryerson University and I have to have something different each week based on a very vague assignment. I am started to create more on the spot and while I like it, I still don't feel very many of them are worth putting on here, lol.

I have also started to read Tom Sawyer, since, not being American it was not a mandatory read in my schools. And I have Huckleberry Finn lined up to read next. I am on a slight binge of classic-like literature, after reading Pride and Prejudice two weeks ago.

Ok... that's all.... felt like posting my boring life, more so the wonderful news of a resurrected Alice in Wonderland. And here, is a lyric :)

2.50 for a hi-ball,
And a buck-an-a-half for a beer
Happy hour is here

I am free-spirited, open-minded and loud-mouthed.
My interests are vast: from serial killers and zombies, to the study of world religions and mythology.
I am a tom-boy.
I would die without music, and kill for my loved ones.
I prefer animals over people.
I've been writing for as long as I can remember, and still keep withered poems from times I do not recall.

Ah, so the "completely different country" of which you spoke happens to be the one in which I was born. :D Just a few hours' drive from your sprawling metropolis, actually.

I was spoiled by two favourites and swag more comments with your visit. Thank you! Do come again. :)

I DO got dual citizenship! It's awesome, 'cept if Canada and Australia ever go to war against each other I'll have to live in Switzerland. ;) I don't remember it as a baby, unfortunately, but I've been back for one visit and look forward to another! :D

Oooh, I love it when women ask me to return the favour. ;)

Haha! Least Switzerland is supposed to be amazing.. and you should come back, Toronto is a hell of a place. But Vancouver, Montreal and the north have a lot to offer.

And, I'm not your average woman ;)
